(EXPERIENCE MAGAZINE) — BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Waldorf Astoria, known for its world class service, high class elegance and panoramic views was flooded with people on the night of July 17th for the highly anticipated Marie Westwood Magazine launch. Lights were flashing all around us on that Wednesday evening. Timeless dresses and designer garments danced around the second floor of the Beverly Hills hotel, and sparkled almost as brightly as the chandeliers above our heads. Actors, musicians, entertainers, designers, everywhere you looked it seemed like everybody who was somebody was present for this exciting affair.
Notable to many, one of the first big fashion designers to catch the eye of the EE Team was the famous fashion designer, Sue Wong. Best known for her dress designs with a contemporary twist based on old Hollywood glamour and style, Sue graced us with her presence that night, and floated down the red carpet draped in beauty.
The atmosphere was very celebratory, as most of the guests walked around with a fresh copy of The Marie Westwood magazine in their hands, peeling back the pages with smiles on their faces. Champagne, music and laughter filled the room.
To our surprise, only seconds after hearing of their memorable tunes spinning on the ones and two’s, the members of the singing group EnVogue entered the party, commanding the presence of everyone around them. As fine as wine, they snapped their pictures with poise, socialized with the guests and stars alike, and made their way to their table for the program.
From the launch, to the music, to the service, to the drinks, to the views, to the dresses, the night altogether was perfect! The Experience Magazine looks forward to the next Marie Westwood event.
