The New Experience played a private event at the exclusive Chevy Chase Country Club in Glendale. Set in a dramatic back drop, the band played some of their signature tunes. The Chevy Chase Country Club has a reputation for hosting world class events. Known as the Jewel of the Canyon, the views are spectacular and the staff is top notch.
Ed Roth on keyboards, led the group with a cool rendition of Green Onions. The band also played the Doors tune Backdoor Man. The jazz was strong on Thursday with My Favourite Things and Valdez in the Country. They played the Grammy winning song Event Horizon and closed out with a very cool Riders on the Storm. There were guests sitting and listening to music late into the night. Everyone really enjoyed the selection of songs and it was a real treat to hear Robby Krieger from the Doors.
