The Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo ~ Summer 2018

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 21, 2018 – The Experience Magazine was on hand for the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The annual trade show and conference is a combination of Coffee Fest and Healthy Food Expo West.

This event features hundreds of new and returning exhibitors. Many industry professionals came ready to see and taste new and healthy food products.

One of the interesting products was Tightvac. This is a vacuum sealed container used in the storage of coffee, dry goods or anything that you want to keep fresh.

The Culinary & Cocktail Clash to support the California Restaurant Association Foundation brought together restaurant executives with high school culinary students. Teams that competed included Black Bear Diner (in the photo) House of Blues, California Fish Grill, Pacifica Hotels, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, BJ’s Restaurant, Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Specialty Restaurants Corp., Wedgewood Weddings, Urban Plates, and Hard Rock Café. There were samples being munched on as well as new products and methods. In addition to the huge educational program there were various demonstrations, and other exciting events to enjoy. The event is produced by Clarion UX and sponsored by the California Restaurant Association.
