On  March 19, 2015  at 7:00 pm stunning and glam former actress and fashion model turned designer Coco presented her Fall/Winter 2016 “Coco Johnsen Collection”  at Style Fashion Week.

“When I’m wearing a Coco Johnsen design, I feel powerful, sexy, and slightly futuristic. She is above the cutting edge and she knows how to design for every angle of your personality,” says actress, producer, writer and on-camera host Shawn Richardz.

Actress, singer and model Jon Mack echoed Shawn’s sentiments. “I felt amazing wearing Coco’s dress! Feeling the quality of the dress and vibrance of color really impressed me. It’s top quality and bridges sexiness with feminine edginess in such an exciting way. I’m in love with her collection and looking forward to wearing more of her unique designs,” she added.

Her amazing show was called “Warrior Girls” and it was inspired by female comic book heroines. “My inspiration for this collection was the female comic book heroes . I have always had great admiration for comic book female super-heroine characters like Wonder Woman,Storm, Electra and Barbarella because these women portray strong female characters who are in charge of their lives and these characters are crime-fighting , kick ass characters who never fail to deliver. The Coco Johnsen woman is a strong female who is not afraid to be seen and who has full convince in herself and is not afraid to experiment with clothes.

“I use a lot of black this season to portray dark, mysterious and alluring women,” said Coco. Her eye-catching outfits consisted of a bold and eclectic mix of Swarovski crystals, beaded lace and chiffons gowns, futuristic piyet jackets, latex vinyl, and multi-color piyets.

The color scheme was black, chartreuse, gray, red, white and blue.

Coco’s show was bold and fierce. It started with some 80’s inspired jumpsuits, but way cooler and modern day. It was surreal hearing Nine Inch Nails blaring during this amazing show. The dresses were reminiscent of big 80’s show Dynasty, but in a much less gaudy way.

As for showing at Style Fashion Week, Coco had this to say, “It was a pleasure to have been asked by the producers of Style Fashion Week to show my Coco Johnsen ‘Warrior Girls’ Collection at The Reef In Los Angeles. The Style Week Fashion Show is always a great way to introducer the Coco Johnsen Made In The USA Brand to buyers and editors. “

“I have plans to introduce the warrior collection the the Asia Market during trade show season for Fall 16 . The Coco Johnsen brand is a Made in the U.S.A. brand but will be expanding into the foreign market for sales opportunities and we look forward to what the future brings.”
