KCRW’s annual Halloween fundraiser Masquerade kicks off the season on Saturday, October 25 and pre-sale tickets went on sale for KCRW members only. Talent will be announced next month, but expect live electro-punk and reggae, as well as the dance side project of an indie pop favorite alongside stilt walkers, aerialists, and some of the most creative costumes you’ve ever seen. It all takes place at The Legendary Park Plaza Hotel inside five themed rooms and around the property. Pre-sale tickets are $85 and available at KCRW.com. Only a limited number of tickets will be available at pre-sale prices. Regular priced advanced tickets will be $100 and will even include a one-year KCRW membership (with eligibility to win ticket giveaways and a Fringe Benefits card). Proceeds for the event support the public radio station’s programming. From circus troupes and costume contests to food trucks and ghost stories, the evening goes far beyond a traditional dance party. Music is provided by KCRW’s own skilled selectors and special guests. The event is 21 and over and all tickets are general admission.
