LA’S LONGEST RUNNING SINGLE DAY VEGAN TRADITION
Los Angeles’ biggest vegan potluck event of the year, a tradition for more than 25 years. Hundreds of people attend annually.
Come share some delicious food, connect with beautiful people, and enjoy the outdoor environment. There will be music, live performances and an open mic. Everyone is invited to bring chairs/ blankets/ tarps (as most of the picnic tables in our area are used for potluck dishes), drums, other musical instruments, a frisbee or a ball to toss. It’s a great place for children. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
While there is no fee to attend, please see details below so you know what to bring in order to participate
Please use your best judgement in practicing health and safety protocols. Hand sanitizers will be available. Please attend only if you are free of transmissible illness symptoms.
***Park Rules: No Alcohol***
***For each member of your party, please bring a vegan dish to share that will serve at least 8-10 people and that is ready to serve. For example if there are 2 people in your party, please bring 16-20 servings. Vegan means no meat, fish, eggs, dairy or honey- No animal products at all. ****
Organic, chemical free, GMO free foods are encouraged. Both cooked and raw vegan food is welcome. There will be a space designated for raw food. Please be conscious to place your dish there only if every ingredient in your dish is 100% raw (pasteurized foods, commercially canned and most jarred food are not raw).
Please bring an ingredient list to help those of us with allergies.
****TO PREVENT PAPER & PLASTIC WASTE, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PLATES/BOWLS, CUPS, EATING UTENSILS AND SERVING UTENSILS.******
