(EXPERIENCE MAGAZINE) — Monday, June 5th, 2023 — The Maui Sugar Mill in Tarzana, California was the place to be this last Monday for Cadillac Zack’s Blues Party and Jam. The Experience Magazine had top photographer Alex Kluft there to catch the action.
Robby Krieger from The Doors sat in with Lance Lopez and an amazing backing band. Robby showed off his blues chops with slide playing and great licks. He played late into the night. The crowd really dug it. The backing band is one of the top blues backing bands featuring Michael Leasure on drums, Danny Avila on bass and his dad Sammy Avila on keyboards.
These guys all have played with Walter Trout in the past and they put on an incredible live performance that is unmatched. Michael Leasure has been the drummer in the world famous Walter Trout Blues Band for 14 years. He plays with a stunning intensity.
