Iconic fashion designer Shekhar Rahate had his pre-Oscar fashion show at trendy Nirvana restaurant in Beverly Hills, where he presented his 2015 Oscar collection on February 19th. His show bridged the gap between eastern and western fashion. There were many international celebrities on the red carpet such as Said Faraj from Green Zone and Fahim Fazli. Roman media presented the event and the event was sponsored by Sisel Beauty, who had makeup, skincare and lashes available for sale at the event. Candy Ice, Hayavi Media and celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist Badri Kermani were sponsors.

Kermani really enjoyed working with Rahate. “He is such an amazing designer and working with him has brought me many opportunities like the Oscars and it has taken me to the next level of my career and he is always so supportive of my vision and so easy and loyal to work with. As for upcoming projects, Kermani had this to say, “I have a lot of artistic endeavors in mind for 2016 and this awards and fashion season is really helping me expand my creative outlets.” “Working with Shekhar is truly a great experience and it’s fun to help the celebrities get their pre-Oscar glam on,” said designer Shruti Bhandarkar.
