Tea Spa Event Peddles Its Way to The Pedaler’s Fork
I had the pleasure of attending a luxurious Tea Spa event sponsored by Vanichi Magazine along with Charles & Company tea and Digiviral at the rustic yet elegant Pedaler’s Fork in Calabasas. Truly a pop up spa event, it was a luxurious afternoon of mingling, manicures, massages, special Spa tea and liqueur cocktails and small bites prepared by Pedalers Fork.
“It was awesome to work with such incredible brands with such strong visions that share a common thread of tenacity and transcend limits,” said Jordan Anthony Swain, Editor-in-Chief of Vanichi Magazine. “These brands partnered up for Linda’s voice and gave women a day to relax and be appreciated. That’s what Tea Spa is all about and that’s what Vanichi is all about,” added Swain.
Proceeds of the raffle went to Linda’s Voice Foundation, whose goal is to end domestic violence. “We’re an educational and awareness non-profit using creative forums, social action and direct assistance to engage, educate and empower the global community to end domestic violence,” said Kelley Whitis, the Director of Media and Programming at Linda’s Voice.
“For Digiviral to provide services like this and to spread the word for such a much deserved charity is what we’re all about,” added Jeff Moeller, Vice President of Operations for Digiviral.
“This event was wonderful for so many reasons. As a woman who enjoys gathering an amazing group of women together, who are influential in their industries and to pamper and spoil them for an afternoon is great. And when you get to raise funds for Linda’s voice and fight for the end of domestic violence, it takes it to another level. It’s also good to remember to give back. We get so much and it’s good to give back. As women, we have to band together as there truly is power in women uplifting each other,” said Joy Moeller-Donnell, COO of Vanichi Magazine.
Charles and Company is an organic and kosher tea brand whose fanbase includes Sir Anthony Hopkins and the British royal family. Plus the restaurant recently hosted the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour so everything was first rate. With giveaways from OPI nail lacquers, The Four Seasons, makeup from Tarte, hair products from WEN, and Links of London jewelry, it was worth the short drive to peddle my way (via car) to Calabasas.
