Broad Street Oyster Company Malibu for dineLA 2021

(EXPERIENCE MAGAZINE) — Malibu, California — Friday, March 12th, 2021 — The Experience Magazine stopped by the Broad Street Oyster Company to sample the dineLA menu. Christopher Tompkins, founder of Broad Street Oyster Company, created a special location in Malibu Village. Using a unique method of procuring high quality oysters, Broad Street provides super fresh locally sourced oysters, sea urchin and shrimp. As well as cold drinks and a menu loaded with great items.j

Currently, they are offering take out at picnic tables and in the parking lot which has a tent style roof. It’s first come, first served. Theres a place to socially distance and place your order, then they call your name. They also have a place where you can drive up and pick up your order without ever getting out of your car. Even with the pandemic going on, this is a fun restaurant with a pop up feel. The food is gourmet and the atmosphere is fun. It’s great to have this place near the Malibu Lagoon and the Colony because there aren’t a ton of options for quality dining in Malibu.

Broad Street’s dineLA menu 2021

For dineLA, they had two options. You could do a Fisherman’s Feast for $25 which allowed you to choose between the lobster roll and fish and chips. The second option was for $45 and allowed you to add ceviche or shrimp cocktail to your order. We tried the fish and chips and lobster roll. Really great taste on both. Broad Street uses fresh oil to fry up their food and you can really tell. We sat outside at a picnic table and we were able to socially distance from everyone.

Broad Street is a fun place to hang out. The Point at Malibu and the Malibu Pier are right across the street. Their signature dish is a combo platter with sea urchin, shrimp and raw oysters. Its perfect for getting together with friends and drinking a cold beer.

The drive up window is awesome

Stop by Broad Street Oyster Company in Malibu for some tasty food and great place to relax and enjoy some gourmet food.
