(EXPERIENCE MAGAZINE) — Los Angeles, CA — The Experience Magazine has been savoring the culinary delights of DineLA Restaurant Week, running from August 14th to August 28th, 2026. This year, food enthusiasts are treated to a vibrant array of flavors across various restaurants in Los Angeles, showcasing the city’s diverse culinary landscape.

Kickstarting their culinary journey, the magazine visited Cali Chilli, located in downtown Los Angeles, on opening night. Offering an enticing $55 menu, diners can select three dishes from Course II and III. Highlights included the Green Goddess Chickpeas Salad with Goat Cheese, praised for its refreshing flavors, and the Maharashtrian Grilled Techa Paneer, a crowd favorite. Erwin also enjoyed the Tandoori Malabar Cod. For the final course, the Hand Rolled Malai Kofta with Velvety Malai Saffron Sauce stole the show, complemented by a delightful Black Sesame Panna Cotta with Mango Coulis for dessert.

On August 21st, the team ventured to Casablanca Moroccan Kitchen in the Fairfax District, where the ambiance transports diners to a Moroccan film set. The evening began with a fresh salad and Moroccan-spiced carrots, followed by an array of olives and bread dipped in olive oil. The standout dish was the Vegetable Tagine, a clay pot preparation that combines rice and seasonal vegetables. Chef Anis, known for his warm hospitality, enhanced the dining experience with his passion for Moroccan cuisine. Diners also enjoyed the Paella Vegetarian Pasta, a flaky delight that has become a signature offering at the restaurant.

On August 25th, the group discovered Fitoor Indian Grill & Lounge, a lesser-known gem located on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica. The $75 DineLA menu featured an array of small plates, including the Sweet Chili Broccoli, which was made vegan upon request, and the Jackfruit & Chestnut Korma, a savory blend of baby jackfruit and water chestnuts in a cashew curry. Diners were impressed by the quality of the dishes, highlighting the Seasonal Vegetable Allepey Curry, made with fresh market vegetables simmered in a fragrant coconut curry.

The food tour concluded on August 26 with a visit to Gracias Madre, a celebrated vegan hotspot in West Hollywood. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as diners indulged in creative plant-based dishes, further showcasing the culinary diversity available during DineLA.
