(EXPERIENCE MAGAZINE) — Los Angeles, CA — During Dine LA, I discovered Ettore Vino & Cucina – a restaurant that became a true gastronomic revelation for me. As someone genuinely passionate about seafood, I tend to be quite demanding when it comes to this type of cuisine, and this place truly managed to impress me.

It all started with the Frittura Musta – a dish that is often limited to classic fried calamari with sauce. Here, however, it was presented as an elegant combination of calamari, shrimp, zucchini, and carrots. Everything was deep-fried to a perfect golden crisp: crunchy on the outside, incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. The balance of textures was impeccable, making it the first pleasant surprise of the evening.

To accompany the dishes, I chose an organic, house-produced wine – the Chardonnay Reserva. It stood out with its rich, fruity profile and an exceptionally smooth, rounded finish. You could truly feel the care and craftsmanship behind this natural wine.
For the main course, I ordered the branzino acqua pazza with asparagus. The fish was cooked to perfection – delicate, flavorful, with subtle smoky notes. It felt like the ultimate expression of healthy cuisine: clean, fresh, and deeply satisfying without being heavy.

For dessert, we were served a chef’s special. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the name of the dish, but it left a lasting impression – refined, well-balanced, and a perfect ending to the meal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant deserves special mention. From the moment you step inside, you feel transported to the Italian countryside. The rustic interior, warm ambiance, and thoughtful details create a sense of comfort and authenticity. The wine selection is equally impressive, featuring a wide range of organic wines, many of which are also available for purchase.

The service was impeccable – attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Overall, Ettore Vino & Cucina left me with a strong desire to return.
I can confidently recommend this restaurant even to my Italian friends, who are known to be very particular about food. What’s especially telling is that they have already visited – and absolutely loved it.
