GBK Pre Grammy Gift Suite

GBK hosted the Celebrity VIP Lounge at the Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. This was in honor of the 2015 GRAMMY Award nominees and presenters. GBK Productions hosted this special event at SPiN STANDARD. This is LA’s first professional ping-pong club. This was a fine event that brought downtown LA together with the VIP experience. There was a relaxed red carpet area just inside the suite. A buffet table was situated in the middle of the event. The gourmet food offerings were provided by The Standard’s catering. The dress code was casual.
The greatest item of this Pre Grammy Gifting Suite was the Clio speaker from Clear View Audio. This Bluetooth speaker really blew me away! The design is esthetically pleasing. The sound is amazing. There is a clear panel that somehow creates dynamic luxuriant sound. I linked my iPhone as soon as I took the Clio out of the box. The wireless Bluetooth connection took under a minute to complete. The Clio Clear Sounds Beautiful has a strong, full presence. It makes for a great gift and has such a deep rich sound. It has an invisible wireless Bluetooth speaker, which employs a revolutionary transducer made from ultra-thin, slightly curved, and optically clear acrylic.
A bottle of Brut – Le Medallion Cheurlin – Panfield Champagne was givin out to VIPs . Champagne is always a great gift because you can open it at just the right time. Nuvino wine also presented a nice product to celebrities. It’s Wines of the World. To go. Creative, award winning and innovative single serve wine available in 4 varieties from 4 great regions.
Tweezerman Gear was giving out tweezers for grooming. They gifted the men a personal grooming kit and the women received the slant tweezer and makeup brush. They make such nice products. Tweezerman has all kinds of make up brushes and tweezers. They are the beauty tool experts.
Lalo Fuentes presented his LALO fit DVD. Lalo is famous for his training sessions and has many celebrities that follow his routine. I’d like to have time to start a workout routine like this!
Some of the other great gifts were the Vegan Smart All-In-One Nutritional Shake. The different flavors are also low calorie. I also tried the 808 Audio headphones. The particular model was the 808 Performer BT. It’s a studio quality wireless Bluetooth headphone. They have such a great sound. They also have a sleek and modern design.
The fundraising portion of the event was a clever arrangement where VIPs got a chance to play ping-pong with Soo Yeon Lee. We played a point. If I had won the point, she would have donated $1000.00 to STOP-ATTACK.com the assault-response application. Unfortunately, I did not win against Soo Yeon Lee but it was fun to play her in ping-pong.
Always a highlight at GBK events is Crystal Cruises. Celebrities received the “China in Depth”, an all-inclusive cruise from Hong Kong to Beijing. The 10-day cruise includes a deluxe stateroom veranda aboard the award winning Crystal Symphony. It features double overnights in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Shanghai is now a top world destination for luxury and gourmet food.
It was a pleasure attending another GBK Event. They always bring a special flair to the Grammy Awards Gifting Suites. I look forward to the next exclusive VIP event by GBK Productions.
