The 29th annual Evening Under the Stars took place August 1, 2015 at it’s usual location. The American Honda Corporation in Torrance,California
The annual gourmet food and wine festival benefits the Torrance Memorial Medical Center and is in partnership with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce and all the restaurants, wineries, auction donors,table sponsors and guests that support the cause to bring world class health services to the community.
Table sponsors included The Daily Breeze, The Beach Reporter and the Palos Verdes Penninsula publications as well as California State University, Dominguez Hills and the Torrance Memorial Medical Center among others.
Auction donors included Disneyland Resorts, Doffo Winery, Fox NFL Sunday and many local breweries, wineries and restaurants in the south bay.
Grammy award winning singer Peabo Bryson and Hawaiian musician Daniel Ho provided wonderful entertainment for the crowd.
Restaurants represented included Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana of Manhattan Beach. Ise Shima at the Miyako Hotel in Torrance, Hey 19 Public House of Torrance, Fresh Brothers Pizza, The Buffalo Fire Department and The Depot Restaurant both from Torrance and Island Eats of Torrance provided great Hawaiian food.
There was excellent food from all of the eateries represented and great desserts from Good Cookies and beyond who specialize in dairy free, vegan and allergy friendly baked goods as well as wonderful cup cakes from Bunt Cakes Baking.
