DPA, or Dubois, Pelin and Associates recently hosted their ninth luxury gift lounge during the week of the Golden Globes. Nathalie Dubois-Sissoko and DPA hosted their Talent Lounge in the penthouse of the Luxe Hotel. You have to be a celebrity, nominee, or select media to gain access. The Experience was invited to sample items that were presented at this Pre Award luxury Gifting Lounge.
The first thing that is obvious when entering this gift suite is the amazing haute couture. Nathalie Dubois Sissoko has brought in the top luxury fashion designers from around the world. This is DPA’s ninth Pre Awards luxury gift lounge. Parisian leather designer, Pascal Piveteau was presenting gifts. Brazilian designer, Barbara Bela, is from Sao Paulo. Her clothes feature party dresses and embroidery. She has an original style that strives for perfection in its detail. Romanian fashion designer, Doina Pirau provided gorgeous clutches that are perfect for the red carpet. From Los Angeles, Single by Galina Sobolev, created exquisite gowns for the red carpet. NYC designer, Ardio jewelry had its LA premier by lending jewels to the stars for the Golden Globes. Marchon launched top French and Italian designed sunglasses.
The DPA gifting suite is famous for gifting amazing trips around the world. This year was no exception. Pearl resorts gifted trips to Bora Bora in French Polynesia. At the ultra exclusive Tahaa private island Resort and Spa. Tahaa has gorgeous beaches and elite accommodations. Some guests were invited to Easter Island. This is a rare chance for celebrities to travel to this magical place. The Easter Island tour is courtesy of Mahinatur Spa at Hangaroa hotel. Easter island is, of course, famous for its 887 monumental statues. It is the southeastern most corner of Polynesia.
New to DPA, as far as travel is concerned, is Costa Rica. Copa De Arbol Beach & Rainforest Resort is a luxury private beach in Southern Pacific Costa Rica. Gorgeous beaches, fresh-water lagoons, and miles of hiking trails through the rainforest make Copa De Arbol a top destination. Lastly, one of Natalie Dubois’ favorite destinations in the World, Cape Breton Island is truly an amazing destination. Located in Nova Scotia, this must see island is known by Forbes magazine as the “Hottest Island in Golf”. Also, the Cabot Trail, on Cape Bretton Island, is considered one of the best drives in the world!
Finally, the “Spa” section should be mentioned. Natura Bisse, a skin care product to the stars gifted some top notch products. The Lab Room gifted items from its cosmetic lines to lucky guests. Zaaz Studios provided service from its Whole Body Vibration machines. And Daquini provided clothing for hot yoga.
There were so many items that it’s almost impossible to mention them all. A few that stood out on the catering side were Herzog Winery, Coco Libre coconut water, White Girl Salsa, The Yes Bar, and Energems and Jill’s Chocolates(hand crafted chocolates from Nova Scotia).
Nathalie also works closely with The Sierra Club.
