East LA Meets Napa 2019

(EXPERIENCE MAGAZINE) — LOS ANGELES, CA — On Friday, July 26, at L.A. Live, in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, East LA Meets Napa had their 14th annual East LA Meets Napa: A Celebration of Argentina. Now in its 14th year, this event celebrates the Latin food of Southern California.

Friday night was a chance to journey to the vineyards of the famed Napa Valley, where the quality of the wine reflects the deep roots of the many family vintners. Over 50 top LA chefs, restaurateurs, award winning Napa wine-producers and premium spirit distributors serve generous tastings while patrons enjoy live music throughout the evening. East LA Meets Napa has become AltaMed’s premier fundraising event!

There were so many delicious vegetarian dishes that the Experience Magazine sampled throughout the night. The were over 70 top restaurants represented at this years event. Masa Taco had Vegan Al Pastor taco that blended the flavors of root vegetables, Oaxaca Pasilla Salsa and vegan avocado crema. This dish featured a 24 karat gold dusted micro cilantro! It was out of this world!

Vchostruck had a Pupusas with a ban only vegan offering. It was tasty! The EE World News tam tried so many delicious vegetarian dishes and wines from Napa valley.
