Japanese Anime Film “Your Name” Opens in Theaters in U.S. on April 7, 2017

For all you anime fans or those just looking to see something pleasantly different, I had the honor of being invited to the private screening for the U.S. release of the movie, “君の名は。” “Kimi no Na wa.” “Your Name” hosted by Funimation in Hollywood.

I thought the film was masterfully done and Makoto Shinkai created a beautiful film that deservers to be place among anime’s must see full length feature films. Everything about this anime was great from its awesome animation to its wonderfully delightful storyline will surely put a smile on your face and possibly a tear or two of joy…. yes anime fans, this one actually has an ending that works and doesn’t leave you wondering what was that… but honestly I can’t praise Makoto Shinkai’s “Your Name” enough and know you will feel the same after seeing it!
